Palazzo Balsamo is located within the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL). Access is simple and assisted by our staff, who will guide you through every stage of your arrival.
From the airport
Palermo “Falcone e Borsellino” Airport is approximately 35 km away.
Upon request, the concierge can arrange a private transfer directly to the hotel.
Alternatively, you can reach the city center by train or taxi. Palermo Central Station is just a few minutes’ walk from Palazzo Balsamo.
By car
Palazzo Balsamo does not have private on-site parking, but provides a reserved area for loading and unloading luggage right in front of the entrance.
Upon your arrival, our staff will register your license plate to authorize the temporary transit necessary for check-in and check-out within the ZTL.
Parking and valet
Two solutions are available:
Car Valet Service (recommended)
With an advance reservation, an attendant will collect your car upon arrival and take it to a secure partner garage. The pick-up and return service is available for check-in and check-out. During your stay, the garage can be reached independently with a short walk of about 7 minutes.
Public parking
It is possible to park for free in the surrounding areas, such as Piazza San Nicolò degli Scalzi or Via Torino, subject to current availability.
Note: to correctly reach Via Divisi 99, we recommend following the driving directions provided by the hotel, as GPS navigators can be inaccurate within the pedestrian area.
From the train station
The property is a few minutes’ walk from the central station, crossing through the historic center.
On foot
Palazzo Balsamo is easily accessible from the city’s main points of interest.
